What do we all want to teach?
Elementary, high school history, Spanish.
How can we tie that together?
If we make it well, it can be used for all grade levels in an elementary school.
Is there a historical event we could do, like the one that did the underground railroad?
One that incorporates Spanish? THE ALAMO.
Google earth tour

photo/powerpoints
researching specific soldiers from the alamo and maybe dressing up
class blog?
ask an expert: get in touch with a local from the area around the alamo, and set up an online discussion using something like wallwisher or video chat
make a diorama - 3d model of the alamo GROUP PROJECT
3 potential final products: skit, diorama, slideshow?
or the final product is ALL THREE. groups present a slideshow, do a short skit, and produce a diarama?
Project for 5th graders, easily tweaked to fit 3rd, 4th, or 6th as well
